Nauvoo PageantThe Nauvoo Pageant

This tradition has been the highlight of the summer for thousands of Nauvoo tourists for more than twenty years! Enjoy a full outdoor musical showcasing the history of Nauvoo and the lives of the pioneers.

Performances take place at the Outdoor Theatre east of the Historic Nauvoo Visitors Center, Tuesday-Saturday evenings from July 6 - July 31. Pageant begins at 8:30 pm, but there are Frontier County Fair activities beginning at 7:00 pm.

 

Rendezvous in Old Nauvoo

This interesting and humorous drama shows life in Old Nauvoo, as performed by the Nauvoo missionaries. Year round performances are Monday – Saturday at 7:00 pm in the Cultural Hall in Old Nauvoo. Complimentary tickets can be obtained by calling Tickets and Tours at 888-453-6434 ext. 122.

 

International Folk Dance Ensemble

At the Outdoor Theater, east of the Historic Nauvoo Visitors' Center, the 2010 International Folk Dance Festival will take place in August 2010. Shows are held at 8:30 pm on August 3, 4, 6, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14. No tickets required.

 

Vocal Point Performances

At the Outdoor Theater, east of the Historic Nauvoo Visitors' Center, performances from the singing group Vocal Point will take place in June and July 2010. Shows are held at 8:30 pm on June 22, 23, 25, 26, 28, 29, 30 and July 1, 2, 3. No tickets required.

 

High Hopes and River Boats

Learn Nauvoo history with song and dance. Performers will have you laughing and singing along. Performances will be held in the Historic Nauvoo Visitors' Center East Theater daily except Sunday from May 29 to August 14. Show times are 3:00 and 5:00 pm.

 

BYU Ballroom Dance Company

The BYU Ballroom Dance Company performs in June, Monday – Saturday at 8:30 pm on the Nauvoo Outdoor Stage just east of the Historic Nauvoo Visitors Center. You’ll love their waltzes, swing dances, and sock hops! No Tickets Required.


Sunset on the Mississippi in NauvooSunset By the Mississippi

From May 29 to August 14, enjoy a sunset performance featuring toe-tapping music and good fun. It all takes place at the Historic Nauvoo Outdoor Theatre at 7:00 pm nightly, except Sundays.


Sunday Sociables

Reminiscent of the sociables in historic Nauvoo, these Sunday evening get-togethers feature uplifting music and guest speakers.

 

BYU Young Ambassadors

The talented Young Ambassadors, a BYU singing and dancing group, have performed in more than 50 countries. Their hour-long Nauvoo performances this year will take place on the Nauvoo Outdoor Stage east of the Historic Nauvoo Visitors’ Center on June 8, 9, 11, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19.

 

High Hopes and River Boats

This is an FREE entertaining musical show about Old Nauvoo, featuring talented young performing actors and singers. It takes place in the Historic Nauvoo Visitors Center West Theater, Monday – Saturday at 3:00 and 5:30 pm. Just Plain Anna Amanda

This is a musical production that takes a look at Nauvoo through the eyes of a child. It takes place Monday – Saturday at 10:45 am and 12:45 pm in the Cultural Hall, with a puppet show 15 minutes prior to the beginning of each showing. Nauvoo Brass BandNauvoo Brass Band

Hear the Nauvoo Brass Band as they travel on their bandwagon through the streets of Old Nauvoo! They can also be heard each night, in front of the Cultural Hall and at Sunset by the Mississippi on the Nauvoo Outdoor Stage east of the Historic Nauvoo Visitors' Center.
